Hamner street widening project in Eastvale affects commuter traffic       I blogged last week that a detour should be used and highly recommended for the section of road on Hamner that crosses the Santa Ana river. And this was definitely the case when I tried to get thru last week. I should have taken Limonite off the 15fwy.   The alternate road that has been built to keep one lane open in both directions until work is completed is nicely paved but due to the sharp curve, traffic slows to 15 mph max speed... Not at all what it used to be!         At a cost of roughly $6 million, the project will widen the main roadway from one lane in each direction to two from the north end of the bridge in Norco to Mississippi Drive in Eastvale.
