I just had to share some photos of the snow in Show Low. My husband and I have a cute little place in the White Mountains - about 2.5 hours from Mesa, Arizona. On Sunday it was over 100 degrees, and Monday and Tuesday over 109. We came up on Sunday and it was warm until Wednesday, and today, it started to SNOW!! This is amazing stuff! Since I love to take pictures, I've taken at least 50, and it's still snowing. Here it is, Memorial Day weekend, and it's snowing in Arizona! Here is a view from our kitchen window. Now, a few hours later, it is completely covered with snow. Snow settling on trees Snow on the deck and in the forest. I've taken more, but you hopefully can see the snow flakes. It is still snowing as I type this....I'll share more tomorrow if there's any left on the ground. T...

Today sold me on the Home Protection Plan and it's value. Two weeks ago I had a sale close and today I got a call from the buyer asking about it because the hot water heater in the house kept popping breakers.  I gave him the information I had on file and he called for service.  The plumber was dispatched and it was determined that the water heater was probably just shot and needed replacement.  After a few hours all was well, a new water heater was installed and the buyer was happy.  Here is the kicker, when they took the water heater out of the house the whole bottom of it fell off spewing rust and gunk everywhere. I think the guy upstairs was watching over me once again, I shudder to think what would have happened if the bottom cut loose in the middle of the night.  What a mess.   Th...

What a great way to end a Friday afternoon.  I just signed on to AR to see what was happening and I've made the 10K point mark.  Oh I know lots of you have many more points but at least I'm moving up.  Have a great weekend everyone, see you in "the rain".

Adorable little place to get-away from the heat of the deserts.  Single Owner property shows pride of ownership.  2 BR, 2 BA, Screened Porch, Covered Carport, Extra Patio area for BBQ or just relaxing.  Lot is more than double the size of most in this subdivision.  Over 1/3 acre of space to enjoy.  Walking paths through the property, lots of garden areas for summer color or those juicy veggies.  Workshop with power too.  Priced right at only $154,500.  Call to See.

Hi All, It sounds like the Title of an old song doesn't it?  Well it is, and it really is a beautiful day in Northern Arizona.  Spring is finally showing itself and it is wonderful!  Believe it or not it is close to 70 degrees here in Show Low today and less than fifty miles away you could be skiing at one of the most beautiful Ski areas in this part of the Country.  I met another RE/MAX Agent yesterday from Phoenix who had come up to enjoy the skiing.  Where else can you go ski and get a tan at the same time????  I suppose this should be posted to localism but I just wanted to spread the word to everyone I could.  If you haven't visited Northern Arizona, you are missing out.  This really is God's Country.  Come on up and see for yourself.

After several months of the white stuff this week in the White Mountains has been fantastic.  Plenty of sunshine, nice temps in the high 50's and low 60's and everyone has Spring Fever.  As soon as that last blast was out of here we are seeing activity.  It is so good to see people out and about again and to hear the phones ringing.  Oh I know we could still get more of that cold wet white stuff before Spring finally truly arrives, but this break is just what everyone needed to get back on track.  I've been working on my web-site and will soon have it fully operational.  Check it out and let me know what you think. http://www.whitemtnsazrealestate.comHave wonderful weekend everyone!

In addition to the absolutely spectacular lake and hiking areas at Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area here in Show Low, Arizona -  I discovered one of the nicest bathrooms in a public area that I have ever seen.  E V E R!  Don't get me wrong, not all public bathrooms are poorly maintained - oh, who am I kidding - I can't stand public bathrooms.  Most of the time, they're gross, disgusting and just want to make me "hold it a little longer".  So - when we came across this great place to take some pictures, we, of course, had to stop by the facilities.  WOW - I was shocked.  Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area has the cleanest, most well maintained facilities I have ever seen.  I might even venture to say cleaner than my own. (YIKES!). To make it even better - the buildings each had three separ...

I think if the wind stops blowing tonight we will have our first frost of the season.  Already brought in my tender plants, guess I'd better cover the rest tonight.
