 Now, That Is Some Title. . . With the passing of Prince Philip in April, I was thinking about titles and the many ways they changed in the course of a lifetime.  He was known, of course, as a man who had many titles.     Back firmly on this side of the pond and in my not-so-royal world, evidence of titles play a role in everyday life.  Most of us carry or have carried multiple titles.  Other duties as assigned may be a description of tasks that are given not only in the course of a job but can and do occur at any given moment.  Many descriptions aren’t clearly defined.  Flexibility is important as is adaptability among an always increasing list. Archibald Alec Leach was born in Bristol, England back in 1904 to Elias and Elsie.  His father was an alcoholic and his mother suffered from clinical depression.  When he was 4 he was sent to the Bishop Road Primary School.  When he was 9 his father placed his mother in the Glenside Hospital which was a mental institution.He was 31, when he discovered his mother was still living.  In 1915, he won a scholarship to attend the Fairfield Grammar School.  While he did not excel in academic subjects he excelled in sports.  Where his did find enjoyment was working backstage in Bristol theaters.  In 1918, when he was 14 he was expelled from school.  He became a part of the vaudeville circuit and began touring.  One of those tours was in the United States and he decided to stay in the US not ret...

As a Vacant Land Specialist in Los Angeles I get many inquiries from Sellers to give them a market analysis and what I think their land is worth. Now with that said often I ask basic questions, such as what is the terrain look like? I also ask if they have reports such as Geology, or a Survey and the list goes on and on. Most sellers are pretty honest and straight forward. Others tend to be a little Pinocchio-ish. Well this seller I asked what the terrain looks like. He assured me that it was 'Flat' I was amazed because seldom do I run into "flat" land in Los Angeles, so with that said I went to check out the land.
