I'm writing this post with as much grace as I can muster. But please, fellow agents, I implore you to review the data within the MLS listings. In Texas, listing agents have very specific data that must be entered before the system will allow the property to become, "Active". These MLS sheets provide agents with a ton of information.Now, of course, there are some things that require further investigation. What I am speaking about in this post has to do with the blatant practice of an agent not taking the time to pull up the listing and read the information. Instead, they call the listing agent to ask about basic information that is clearly outlined on the MLS.Also, I know sometimes we are driving and cannot look up the information and that is understood. I think we all experience getting swept up in other people’s problems or in situations that are largely out of our control.  A recent article didn’t really make a distinction between family/relative problems and those of friends and/or colleagues.
