Hello!For my first blog entry I wanted to focus on an issue that has been effecting the real estate community and customers for as long as it has been around. Unfortunately we sometimes have to work with dishonest people and that can be very challenging. They can effect the way that you are working by being a potential influence or they can create a unstable work environment. I truly believe that if everyone was a little more honest, the world could get so much better.  The kind of people who are dishonest in their work, don’t care about the real estate community.  Their focus and drive is only money oriented.  It is unfortunate that this goes on, but with more awareness, hopefully we can root those guys out.  02/21/2023

The desirability of the Lake Sunapee market continues to increase, keeping options limited. In 2022 there were 17 waterfront property sales on Lake Sunapee (compared to 19 in 2021 and 25 in 2020). Dishonesty in any work place is frowned upon, but when working face to face with principals and their hard earned money... Unacceptable. I am new to the real estate world (still taking classes) and learning on the 21 ways to lose a license. This has to be the most common sensed way to lose a license. It also falls into almost all the other 21 ways as well. Who wants an agent who is dishonest with your money? your future? Nobody is the right answer. And who wants to hire a liar? someone who can not be trusted? Again, nobody. When you think about your future in real estate think about the people you are going to be blessed to come into contact with, and grateful to work with, and really think about how you would want to be treated in that situation. While learning the 21 ways to lose your real estate license, the top one that stuck out the most to me was Failure to respond.While most of us know how complex and crazy life can be and how it can certainly get at times, having a career in the real estate industry can add to that stress but what if it meant losing the livelihood it gives you?
