Short-form media content is a very popular format these days for people to watch. These are short videos ("snack sized", under 60 seconds) and when done right are interesting and informative. If you want to be able to share some of this content in a blog post, how do you do it?If you have created a YouTube Short, this is something that you are able to embed it in a blog post. However, it will be slightly different than how you embed a regular YouTube video. If you try to take the URL of a YouTube short and use the insert media button on a post, then paste the URL into the media source box, it will NOT display the video. (The ActiveRain insert media tool was before shorts videos existed, so this tool is not able to use those URLs)However, you can revert back to "old school" method and th...

Comments on your YouTube real estate video.Feed back is the best way to see if you are hitting the target. That your real estate video is a worthwhile expense of time for the other end of the connection. There are instances when not a lot of comments appear trailing down below the video. But that does not indicate engagement is missing. Sometimes it means you did an okay job in the show and tell that is obvious under the hood from a peek at the analytics.Mum's the word but keep those videos coming. Your audience will be back for more! Both blog posts and video channels on social media circles can have lots of feedback. What makes someone on the other end of the signal to take the time to make a comment on what you post and upload? Sometimes it is because so much is missing and confusion is...

Today I ran speed tests using Agent Image, Boomtown, and Real Geeks. I used Ubersuggest to run the tests and the results are below. Agent Image was slow to load, especially on mobile devices which are critical to today's home shoppers. They also stumbled on Mobile Interactivity, which they define as how long it takes for the user to be able to use the page. On the desktop test they suffered from slow Visual Stability. For Boomtown the results were just as interesting. On Desktop Boomtown was slower to load and had slower Visual Stability. As they user test moved to Mobile, those weaknesses became more pronounced.

I’ve re-written my drip SMS messages on my RealGeeks Sites with prompts that use “Exactly What To Say” style language. Earlier this year I attended a EWTS certification class taught by Phil M Jones and I took his language prompts and made a spreadsheet. With this spreadsheet I can pick and choose his prompts to create scripts that move the client through the sales funnel.  With it I created a 25 step Buyer and 25 step Seller drip program to drive engagement. If you’d like for me to help you set up your Drip System in your IDX system please let me know. You can book me at this link for help.

Real estate video marketing.Think customer. First and foremost your property listing buyer. Serve them up what's hot out of the oven. Make the video personable and add emotion, a little humor. But let them know "I get it,  you are busy.. here is the nitty gritty, what you get with this property listing."When a new house comes on the market, what would be easier than a tap tap, sit back and watch, listen, tour the property listing?Video does that.Out of town real estate buyers would quickly decide is this worth the tolls, motels, eats and travel time to do the actual walk through personally? They could move ahead on the real estate chutes and ladders game. IF there was a listing video to sample one after another of your homes for sale. And think seller. Getting more people in and out of t...
