As a luxury real estate marketing professional it is not uncommon to go through periods of time when inventory is scarce. However, there are alway ways to generate revenue during these times. Many of your client own multiple homes around the country and around the world. If you have been diligent in maintaining your database of contacts you can leverage this asset by helping your client choose a broker or agent in the towns where your client’s other homes are located when they are ready to sell. Generating referral fees in this manner is a great way to supplement your local practice.Setting up a section on your website or creating a subdomain that showcases your clients’ homes outside of your immediate market, and then sending out a message to your entire database of is a great way to d...

As a Designated Broker that has managed thousands of transactions, I cannot stress the importance of a high quality listing. Too many agents think they can put little effort into a listing with truncated descriptions, low quality photos, poor communication and mechanical lockboxes. All these items and more are part of the reason a listing will struggle to sell. In the current landscape of a down market it is more important today to assure your client the MLS listing will be as perfect as you can possibly make it. Why give a client a reason to say anything other than, "it must be the high price of the listing".Look at it from a buyer's prospective. If you are a buyer and are scrolling through listings that have been filtered to your criteria and stop at a listing that has pictures that d...

This is an excellent post with great information. Thanks for sharing it.Have a super fantastic week!Joe Jackson, Realtor-KWCP Look way back to 1960s.  I realize that some of you might not have been around during that period.  To be perfectly honest.  Those were my grade school days.  I just think it is interesting to see how those days were as compared to the present days.   Most recessions were not accompanied by plunging property prices.  Real Estate prices are not going to plunge right now.  We are going thru a price adjustment but it is still a good time to buy or sell if you are interested.   And the situation today is far better than it was in 2007-2008 in terms of home equity, inventory levels and lending practices.   #thehelpfulagent #home #houseexpert #house #listreports #homeo...

This weekend I went to Boston to wedding dress shop with my daughter.  The wedding is November 4, 2023, in Miami so it is time to find a dress!  Full disclosure, we set a price that was reasonable - but on the low side if you watch "Say Yes to the Dress."  We set off to shop - with Lise Courtney wearing her new jean jacket announcing her soon to be new name!   We were a party of four - my daughter, her maid of honor and best friend for twenty years, my daughter's future mother-in-law and me.                                            We first went to a wedding dress shop at the Copley Plaza in downtown Boston. This store was an  established family owned business that collaborates now with Vera Wang.  This store was very elegant, small and subdued.  Lise Courtney had picked out several ...
