Agents should not give legal advice, nor should they delve too much into the intricacies of the mortgage process.   Let the attorneys and lenders do their job.   If your respect them enough for your referral, respect that.  While it is fine to know certain "bullet point" issues of a loan, and can be quite helpful in guiding a buyer, let the lender do their job.   Lenders should not be giving buyers legal advice!   Nor should they be telling buyers  things like : rent first / then buy.  Nor should they EVER be telling the buyer what towns they should shop in !   Stay out of it.Attorneys should give their clients legal advice only, and if they disagree with an agents direction for their shared client, they should chat with their agent.For some people, it seems when they have been in this ...

You’re probably asking yourself, “What on earth does this have to do with real estate?”  Quite a bit actually.  All Target stores are located in shopping centers in which it is the anchor store for all the little guys.  If a Target store closes it literally brings most of the center with it because they are a big source of the traffic for the shopping center.  Is Target in trouble?  Absolutely.  And the reason why is poor management in my eyes.  Although they pay their employees a reasonable wage, none of them ever work a forty hour work week, so they never receive any benefits or overtime.  In the short term this saves Target a lot of money, but in the long run it is a morale killer.  When an employee feels undervalued they do not put their heart into what they are doing and it shows. ...

I found a one page piece with the life goals that baseball super star Shohei Ohtani had set for himself in high school. It got me thinking about goal-setting and how I was introduced to that practice. It also reminded me how important that practice has been to me for most of my life. So, with that said... here is my article, "How Important are Goals?"
