A Difficult Week for Dolores KelleyIf you follow me on Facebook, you already know that my wife, Dolores, lost her balance and fell at home last Sunday night. She could not get up and the situation was compounded when I passed out while trying to assist her. I called my sister, a nurse, for help and she accompanied Dolores in the ambulance to the hospital. I still have balance issues after my incident of vertigo that put me in the hospital at the end of November.Dolores had hip replacement surgery on Tuesday. Last night, she was transferred from the hospital to ProMedica in Potomac, Maryland for rehabilitation. She will be there for physical therapy until she is able to walk. Thanks to all for your messages on Facebook. Your prayers and kind words are much appreciated.  Kentlands Photowa...

Everyone knows about the Longwood Gardens Christmas Lights Display, but just down the road at the Herr's Factory in Oxford is a FREE display on the trees and factory. The whole campus is lit up, offices, factory and all the trees and the grounds as well. It is a drive through experience, but a fun one. After you have driven through there are plenty of places to enjoy dinner locally in Oxford and Nottingham, or a bit further away there is West Grove and Kennett Square. People come from Maryland, and all over to drive through and enjoy the display. No free chips, but a wonderful free light display.

Thank you Laura Tomaszewski for spear-heading our first NW Austin CB Realty volunteering opportunity for 2023! The choice to volunteer at the warehouse for the Central Texas Food Bank, to honor MLK week of service, was incredibly rewarding!                  It was so nice to get back to our Pre-COVID volunteering projects! We crushed it on our morning shift! We cleaned, sorted and boxed 150 boxes! We handled 4,350 pounds of food which translates to 3,625 meals for our neighbors in need! AND we had fun doing it!       Our CB family is a close-knit group of seasoned professionals who work hard, play hard and make a difference! We are planning our next volunteer project to take  place February or March, stay tuned.      2023 is off to a good start!"Life’s most persistent and urgent questio...
