I was late picking up my friend to attend the theater. Last minute business calls that perhaps shouldn’t have been answered delayed me picking her up. Then the map on my phone said, essentially, do NOT drive to the theater via the highway we usually take. There had been a serious accident that changed the color of the road to a solid red, so we rerouted and headed south. Well, it’s actually west, but my whole life for some reason I’ve had it in my head that Newark Delaware is south of Wilmington Delaware. I had an Attorney ask when the buyer could do a RADON TEST on a piece of vacant! WOW!!That's surprising! It's not very common to do radon testing on vacant land since radon tests are typically done on homes or buildings to measure indoor air quality. The buyer's attorney might be extra cautious or possibly unaware of the normal process. Our October challenge hosted by Frank Worrell and Carol Williams is about the tech tools we are using and those we have even discarded.My first I want to share is one I knew of for a while but only recently started using extensively. That is RPR it has allowed me to reach out to potential clients with a property report, just one of multiple you can select from, and email it to the client, impressing them with the depth of information. It includes a valuation of the property as well, with a score about how accurate that valuation might be, from one to five stars. Friday afternoon the remnants of Helene blew through the Cincinnati area, and with the strong winds blowing, quite a few trees didn't survive intact.  Falling trees and neighborhoods that have above ground power lines is a bad combination, and fairly quickly there were over 100,000 homes without power. I fully recognize this was a very minor inconvenience when you look at the devastation Helene left elsewhere.  Everything was intact at our home, we just didn't have the normal conveniences that come with having electrical service.But we're blessed because we do have some level of preparation for these type events.  We have our essentials ready to go.  Spare charged battery packs for our phones.  A gas fueled portable generator (wishing we had a whole house generator, but that's an invest... 10/01/2024

If you want to see what all the hoopla is about in regards to power, wealth and fame just watch and observe those that have it and don't doubt what you see. It appears as a cure-all or a worthy pursuit to have one or all of these but those that have tasted of any of them report otherwise.
