This is just a teaser until we are ready to go on the market next Sunday. This penthouse condo is move-in ready. There are skylights and two, yes, two balconies one off of each of the master bedrooms. Did I say 2 Master bedrooms, I did. There is the main suite with great storage and a full bath.  There is another guest bedroom with a private bathroom on the other side of the condo. The second balcony has a door from the kitchen, as well as the guest suite.    Over 2500 square feet in this luxurious space more extensive than most homes. A wall of windows from each room allows you to wake up to the sunrise where you can see the skyline of Towson. You can even watch fireworks on the 4th and New Year's Eve.  What more could you want? A total of three bedrooms and three full baths on the top...

Not altogether impossible but well...wonky.  So, Hannah Williams and I are extending the July Challenge ...It’s Time to Reach Out and Touch Someone...Well, Not Literally to the end of August.  What better way to get back into the swing of things here in the Rain than to pick up the phone, call a member you have never spoken to or haven’t in a long time, and write a post about it.  Here are the rules… The July Challenge begins July 1 and ends at midnight PST on August 31, 2020. You can write 1,2, or 3 posts. Each post will earn 750 points. Each post must be 300 words or more and contain at least 1 picture. (Hint: you can copy and paste the membe...

I don't read many of the posts from Barry Owen but I know he has solid content.  Integrity is big in my book and I don't deal with people that don't possess it. integrity 1: firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values : INCORRUPTIBILITY 2: an unimpaired condition : SOUNDNESS3: the quality or state of being complete or undivided : COMPLETENESS (Merriam-Webster) Lack of integrity negates trust! Yep! Only you know your own, personal “standards” and only you can preserve these personal sacraments. Similarly, only YOU have the power to Honor these promises to yourself . . . or not. When you compromise your personal standards, you break trust with yourself. Trust is slow to earn and fast to disintegrate. No one is exempt from these realities. We tumble through life making ...

With the Covid-19, it seems I am putting less miles on my Lincoln this year and let I am doing more in sales this year with even being shut down part of Mar and April till May 9.Makes me thinking about keeping my car a extra year compare to other years.  Some clients are driving by homes first, which I encourage them to do.  With a shortage of homes on the market buyers need to move faster to buy a home.  I also notice that I am saving money on gas this year.  I guess my budget is changing lots this year. How about yours.

I've found that pandemic times can also be nostalgic times.  Yesterday, in the spirit of TBT (Throw Back Thursday) I was reminiscing about an adventure I went on back in 1995.  My son was serving in the United States Navy at the time, and he invited me to go along as a guest on a 4 day cruise aboard the Aircraft Carrier, U.S.S. Kitty Hawk.  We were to travel from Seattle to San Diego.  It was the very first, and the very last cruise I’ve been on.  What many may not know is that the length of an aircraft carrier is approximately three football fields.  They are about 18 stories tall.  You don’t realize how many stories there are, because half are below water.  What they don’t tell you before you board is the only elevator between floors is for airplanes, not people.  And, the steps consi...

One of my favorites authors to quote is Rumi. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet, faqih, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic originally from Greater Khorasan in Greater Iran. Wikipedia.  We both have been inspired by his poems and thoughts.  Here are three of our favorite quotes.  Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead! Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about.~Rumi "Gratitude is the wine for the soul. Go on. Get drunk." ~ Rumi "You were born with potential. You were born with goodness and trust. You were born with ideals and dreams. You were born with greatness. You were born with wings. You are not meant for crawling, so don't. You have wings. Being a First Time Homebuyer in Plano Texas makes you have to consider your options before you buy. The first thing you will need to consider is what your long-term goals are with being a home owner and how your goals fit in with that plan. One goal could be to stop paying rent that just increases after every lease you renew.Buying your own home first is one of the happiest times of your life! However, a lot of paperwork and time goes into it and finding a lender with great reviews will ease much of the stress. But, the satisfaction you get from your first home closing is something you will never forget! The benefits of being a First Time Homebuyer in Plano Texas greatly outweighs renting for the following reasons:          Greater privacy.          Homes typically increase in value the...

Talking about drug addiction feels like a taboo subject for most people. However, so many of us suffer the effects of being addicted (or dealing with somebody who is addicted in our family / friends circle). Alcoholism is a much more widespread problem than most of us are aware. It is time to eliminate the stigma.Drug addicts should be comfortable to express their physical and mental dependencies without fear of judgment. They are already suffering. They do not need any further punishment. There is tendency to see them as selfish people who will get drunk even when those around them are so obviously suffering. Selfishness is a big part of being an addict it is true, but not the whole story. Knowing how much the drug (alcohol) controls their lives should soften out stance towards their ba...
