2015 Future Garbage and Recycling Information Basic Information   In early 2015, the City of Waukesha will start a new system of automated garbage and recycling collection. Every eligible household* will be receiving two new provided carts —one for garbage and one for recycling.  These will be delivered in late January/early February directly to resident homes. Additionally, recycling will change to "single sort" meaning all recyclables can be mixed together in the recycling cart, not having to separate paper from bottles/cans.
