Ok, so I didn't take this photo...I found it online.  I tried to snap my own baby robins outside on our back patio, where the nest is above an outdoor speaker, but the pix never were light enough....so, I posted this one.  Pretty close to the real thing, although my babies are much larger.  I believe they will take flight any day now.  I have enjoyed watching them grow up! It is amazing how quickly they double in size (in just 3 days! Amazing!).  I have made my hubby turn off that speaker while he is out chipping around with the golf club or grilling out, so they are not disturbed :-)  He hee.  I also had him empty out the pond liner that is below the nest for fear that if they fall out, they will drown.  I have kept the suet, birdseed, fruit, bread crumbs, birdbaths all filled for the... 05/28/2009

Recently I caught up with a friend I that was on his way to take a class. I asked him "Where are you taking your class?" He informed me he was taking it at UW-Waukesha because he wanted to better himself and he enjoyed taking classes on a regular basis. Continuing education at it's best.The University of Wisconsin located in Waukesha, Wisconsin has grown. It is known for the amazing quality and teaching that is synonymous with the entire UW system. Recently someone asked me how I knew a lot about Waukesha County history. I really don't know that much more than age allows myself, and what resources are in front of me. With the return of the warm weather, many of us will be enjoying the outdoors often.  Before applying costly creams or sprays to soothe your bites, rashes and burns, try some of these cheaper and greener first aid tips from authors Graham and Rosemary Haley:1.  To soothe your first stubborn sunburn of the summer, apply a mix of a whipped egg and a teaspoon of castor oil.  Or, add a handful of baking soda to a bathtub of warm water and soak in it for awhile.  2.  For those pesky mosquito bites, apply vinegar on a cotton ball to the itchy area. 3.  Beat bee stings by applying a paste of baking soda and water to the affected area. 4.  Reduce discomfort from poison ivy by rubbing the inside of a banana peel on the rash.  It should reduce the irritation witin a few days.   PLEASE ASK ME ABO... 05/26/2009

    I am off to a client inspection this morning, and I was curious to hear from my fellow AR Realtors....do you all attend your inspections?  Do you stay for the entire time or just the second half?  Do you make comments/suggestions, or keep your mouth shut for the duration?I remember in my Real Estate Training about 10 years ago, I was told to not say anything at the inspection, for liability reasons.  I understand the reasoning, but is this really practical?I make it a point to attend all of my home inspections. If I am asked a question, I answer it honestly.  I see it as an added service to my buyer clients.  It makes them feel more comfortable and at ease (especially the first time home buyers), knowing that I am there as an extra set of eyes and ears.  What do you think? For example there is The City of Waukesha . Then people have a hard time with the City of  Oconomowoc.  Muskego is easy, but The Village of  Chenequa  throws them.Okauchee  is hard, Mukwonago is rather easy, Menomonee Falls most get right, Monches  is simple.
