Have you even wondered what sort of an effect a single company has on a small community in the housing market? Verona, WI In the past five years, Verona has grown immensely.  Being an attractive community it has attracted recent college grads and young families. Growth in the community has been hugely expanded because of employment at Epic Systems, a local healthcare software company.  Epic is growing by leaps and bounds and while many new employees are too young or fresh out of college to buy homes or live in the area, there is a constant and growing number who are becoming homeowning Veronans(or is it Veronites?)  Their well paying salaries are helping shield the area from the effects of recession.   Self-proclaimed "Hometown, USA" Verona is a great community for raising kids. My wife and I moved to Verona Wi about 10 years ago.  I am in Real Estate and i help people buy and sell homes.  I showed this home and after the buyers passed on it decided it was worth showing my wife, Lucy.  We loved it and put an offer on it, got it, sold our home, moved in!  All pretty easy.  4 ft of snow drifted across our driveway the first weekend we were in, as if to welcome us!
