The Wisconsin housing statistics are in for April of 2014. Here is an excerpt from what the Wisconsin Realtors® Association (WRA) had to say: Wisconsin existing home sales fell in April even as median prices continued to rise according to the most recent analysis of the state housing market released by the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA). Home sales declined 11.6 percent in April compared to the same month last year due to a combination of higher home mortgage rates, higher prices and harsh winter temperatures. I just spent a wonderful day enjoying the Ironman competition in our very own Verona.  Actually I got up early to see the start in Madison when 2600 athletes started with a splash in Lake Monona, followed by a short 2.4 mile swim. Next a 112 bike ride, which in large part is based in Verona.  For  the most part the locals are very welcoming, but there are a few grouches who worry that they can not get to church or some place, or their business misses some dollars.    But be the crowds that turn out, the Verona bike ride is a good thing.  I love to see the athletes. We had breakfast at Grays Tied House, where we had a balcony view of the race.  Then followed by a nap- it is hard work watching!!- we went into Madison to see a wonderful finish,  a 26 mile run.    I so appreciate the inspir...
