It's funny how fast the last 24 years has went by in my real estate career in Waukesha County. When I started there was a little "Boris" dot matrix printer one could look up Waukesha County MLS properties and Milwaukee County MLS properties from. It was a product of the MLS and that was pretty much it. In Wisconsin at that time there was talk about putting a home inspection clause in the offer to purchase, and for the most part the offer was just a couple of pages. Every two week would go by and I would give my printed MLS books, book A (Milwaukee County only) or book B(everywhere else) to some of my motivated customers. When I was younger and would hang out with my grandmother driving her nuts she would often suggest I go mow the yard, pull weeds, or do some physical work so I could appreciate a good days work. Often I would look in her refrigerator for food and comment that her ice box should be colder. Of which she would reply "You don't know how good you have it Tombo, I remember always scraping and cleaning the ice chest." Often, when I get really moving in the Waukesha County real estate I  can accumulate a lot of paperwork by the end of the day. Now take this over the course of a week, and even further, and it adds up fast. Someone asked me awhile ago "Tom, what are all the files for?"
