Hello Everyone, I want to share my knowledge of Spokane Real Estate with you today. It's winter time now and the snow is everywhere. That is one of the things that makes Spokane Washington a great place to live is we have all 4 seasons. There are roughly 3000 real estate agents in Spokane and everyone will no doubt say they are the best. But buying and selling homes in Spokane takes more than a tagline or brochure. It takes and Expert who has the tools to help you and cares enough about you and your family to do it right.   We are known in Spokane as being one of the most cutting edge real estate agents in Spokane. We do so many things that other agents don't do that it just adds up to being a premiere real estate team. It's hard to really tell people how good you are because everyone i...

Hello Everyone, Besides being a Spokane Real Estate Expert I also work on keeping an eye on our community. We have seee problems with homelessness all over the country and we are no exception. About 1/3 of the people homeless have mental disorders and another 1/3 some type of drug addiction. Then there are those who have just had some hard times and haven't been able to receive enough help. A man was found dead recently under the freeway in jeans and a tee shirt. It's freezing outside and while many of us enjoy the warmth of our house and lives, there are those who literally are freezing. I saw a lady by the side of the road the other day with a sign. You know the will work for food sign. People are skeptical and figure, they choose it, or they are going to buy beer or drugs if I give t...

Hello Everyone, Yes if you haven't heard your will that the Fed lowered rates a substantial .75% this is big. What will it mean to Spokane Home buyers and Home Sellers who were wondering what is coming for the Spokane Real Estate market. Well, The best result for us is going to be business as usual. We probably won't go up like the market of two summers ago. I hope we will just get to the slowing but steady market of last summer.   First time home buyers have to be able to get loans again and the funny result here with the rate change is that some first time homebuyers will enjoy the benefits, but these rates are falling into a mortgage system that has already tightened up on the requirements. If they don't loosen up, they may find that they only partially solved the problem. This means...

Red Wagon Attraction Closed for Repairs Local Spokane Folks please note:In the last few days you may have noticed fencing around Spokane's Red Wagon sculpture in Riverfront Park. The Red Wagon, known officially as "The Childhood Express," is usually open year round, but this year Park Operations staff will work diligently during the months the attraction is least used to re-deck the wagon bed and provide additional structural reinforcement. The attraction is now fenced off and restricted from use for the duration of the repair process which should be completed in about two months, pending weather.Spokane's "Red Wagon" sculpture was created by Ken Spiering in honor of Washington State's 1989 Centennial. Green Building TimelinePre-20th Century - structures were designed and built by builder-architects who had an ability to understand the entire building from design through construction and lifetime operations. They incorporated enduring passive design and simple mechanical systems to heat, cool and light buildings. Architects in the 21st Century will look back upon these ideas to relearn the basics of climatic design.1930s - new building technologies began to transform urban landscape. Advent of air conditioning, low-wattage fluorescent lighting, structural steel, and reflective glass made possible enclosed glass and steel structures that could be heated and cooled with massive HVAC systems, thanks to availability of cheap fossil fuels. These technologies began a sadly regressive moveme...

Hello Everyone, When there is snow on the ground it's nice to sip on a nice warm latte or put your favorite sweater or slippers on and cuddle up by the fire, but there are many people who don't have such luxuries as warmth. We enjoy some thigns that others can't have. It's easy to forget others when we don't have the problem in front of us or if we are not sufffering.Let's all take a momment and look for a way to help. Donate an extra coat, or find out who is in need in your community. In Spokane there are people who can't afford to turn on their heat because they can't afford the higher bills. Small children in cold rooms because heat is a luxury. The key to helping is to make an effort to get educated on how you can help. We are working on a section on our website that will help this ...

Hello Everyone, Unfortunetly i have to say I think if your in this business for any amount of time you will run into some unethical situations whether it is in a transaction or challenges you face in what to do in a situation. I was shocked when I got started along time ago at some of the unethical and in some cases illegal activity I saw.I also was licensed as a mortgage broker and saw even more probably in that industry. I think we have to continually educate people about why it's important to choose the right agent. Not just for you but to fight against some other unethical agents who may represent the other party. I even tell people about my faith which is the foundation of my moral values. Not to convert or preach to anyone, I don't care what they believe, but so that they know it ...

Hello Everyone, Learn More at www.TeamQuintana.com  Well, let's tacle the very important question and the thousands of dollar question. Should you be concerned with how tech savvy your realtor is? The answer is of course! With over 80% of people starting the looking process online, it is only becoming more and more important that you hire an agent who is smart on the internet. The days of the realtor who doesn't know how to use a computer and expecting to be competitive are long gone. As a matter of fact, people are so slow to learn technology and it's growing so fast, that the agents who haven't woke up and started using and learning the new technology and trends are more far behind than they think. Many agents have a company webpage, not website, or have a cookie cutter template site ...

Hello Everyone, Learn more at: www.TeamQuintana.com This is a good for both people selling their homes and selecting an agent, and for agents who should know how to structure their business to provide better service for your customers. So let's look at the pros and cons of brochures and how to use them. Some agents don't use brochures for their property. I have heard them say they do it because they want the people to call them so they can sell them on your home. But the fact is many people don't want to contact agents who will try and sell them on the house , they usually just want information. If you asked 10 buyers if they would rather talk to an agent or get information on a brochure, they will pick brochure. This is seen in the huge amount of people using the internet to start shop...

Hello Everyone, Visit www.TeamQuintana.com for more info. There is a lot of discussion about discount brokerages in the news. We will see if they remain in business through the legislation and questions about how they effect the public. I will give my 2 cents. Because the public needs to here more than one side of the story. What side does the public hear, they hear dollar signs and the discount packages play on the publics miseducation about how to save money on a real estate transaction. The For Sale By Owner companies just like the discount brokers make money by convincing people they should get it cheaper, ot that they can do it with less service, or they can do it themselves. They have screamed it for so long and lined their pockets off it, but don't explain the other side. The side...

Hello Everyone, Visit our Spokane Wa Real Estate Website for more info. Let's face it, the market always effects home sales. The key is how do you get the most when buying or selling your home in either a slow market or a great market. I sell homes in the Spokane Real Estate market in Washington State. Our market is similar to markets areound the nation. Most people are getting ready after the holidays to sell their home. The big question is will they be able to and how much will they get for it. The single most important choice that will effect their success or failure is the agent they pick. See in a great market people can almost pick anyone and get it sold. But getting top dollar is a different story. This is where the agent makes the diference. If your agent is only bragging that t...

If you plan to buy a home any time soon, you have probably considered most of the obvious questions like, what neighborhood you want to live in, how many bedrooms you need, and when you want to move. But before you get too far down the road, you'll need an answer to an extremely important question: "What is my credit score?"By now, everyone should know that lenders are more likely to approve your loan and give you a better interest rate if you have a higher credit score. But this has become even more important right now, as lenders everywhere are tightening their standards after the sub-prime shakeout. Many people dread finding out what their score is, wondering if real or imaginary financial skeletons will come out of the proverbial closet. Hit your fear of the unknown head-on and get a...
