You could buy a home even if you have 0 Money on hand however to be successful it comes down to three steps that really aren't to difficult....... 1) Qualify for a loan -- This means you must have an income along with an average credit score. "not perfect but just not bad" 2) Find a home that the seller is willing to sell for less money than it will appraise for. 3) USDA loan "farm home loan", contact Dan Bradstreet for a Farm Home Loan Map. FHA loan ....    "you will need to be gifted the down payment". VA loan   ....     "If you qualify for a VA loan this might be a great option. There are other factors that your lender can address or give you advice on what you need to qualify for the price range desired. The possibility of finding a home that will appraise for enough money to cove...

Back at the bird shop Previous raving about The Back Yard Bird Shop doesn't end. This morning I got myself out of bed, when I'd much have enjoyed staying there, to go on a bird walk. I'm not a 'BIRDER'. I like birds, I put bird seed in the two feeders off my deck, I can identify maybe 12 birds by general class (swallow, eagle, hawk...). But I'm not a birder. So, when I was visiting The Backyard Bird Shop I signed up for the 'birdwalk' at the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge for the coming Saturday; I was doing so in the spirit of learning. The bird walk was today. Well, it was an interesting group that showed up at the shop to carpool to the refuge. Let me back up a few steps - I'm a walker, a hiker. When I signed up for a walk that leaves at 8 and returns around noon, I'm expecting that we'l...

Clark County Parade of Homes 2007 -- Ridgefield, Washington Report by: John Slocum REMAX Vancouver WA   August 25, 2007 Portland / Vancouver -- This year's Parade of Homes for Clark County started with a stop to the Ridgefield High School (The Spudders!) to park and be shuttled to the show location. We were glad we brought good walking shoes as the location started with a slight slope, which increased to quite a steep slope to negotiate between the 3rd and 4th/5th homes.
