Wow today was a warm one in Washington somewhere in the 80's. Mickie and I walked the Bayview Ridge neighborhood and handed out door hangers, talked with neighbors and discussed how nice everyones yards looked with the changing colors. I had my camera and forgot to take pictures...darn it.Barnett Associates is pledging $100 to kick off our Food Drive. Our team is behind us and were are hoping to gernate a lot food/money for the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition. In addition to teh neighborhood and our office, Barnett Associates will be at the Marysville Albertsons in Marysville Mall plaza on October 14, 2006. If you're down there shopping please drop in a few non perishable food items on your way out. We appreciate all your support.

Tomorrow afternoon Barnett Associates Real Estate will be in the Bayview Ridge community passing out flyers on the Snohomish County-Camano Associations of REALTORS food drive and the neighborhood website contest. I can't wait to visit the neighborhood once again and talk to old friends. The nieghborhood has changed little since I last lived there but the memories will coming rushing back as I walk through my old hood. If you're a member of the Bayview Ridge Cedarcrest communities and you see us tomorrow give a shout out! We would love to hear from you. Last time I was in the neighborhood meeting neighbors I got yelled at by a guy disgruntal with the prize give away we were doing. He was an odd duck but he has a right to his opinion, that is what make the US so great, but Barnett Associa...

The Snohomish County still has a strong real estate market which has not been affected by the rising interest rates. Yesturday when I was in the office setting up the new desks I received an interesting call. A lady called from Guam regarding the availability of rentals and if pets were allowed. Calling on behalf of her husband, who is in the Military and who has emailed us as well, she was surprised she reached someone that has a real estate website that could assist in Washington military relocation. Following up on leads by email, I manage all incoming leads, and then receiving a call from half way around the globe was a real treat for me. My dad was a helicopter mechanic in the military and my mom knows first had the trials and tribulations that a military family faces as they move from place to place. My brother was born in Texas and I in Germany while my dad was in the service. But getting back o...

I would like to give a shout out to Matt, Manager, of the Marysville Staples. When the office furniture we wanted to buy was being discontinued he helped us purchase the floor displays from his store and the Lynnwood and Redmond stores.Marysville Staples has been Barnett Associates office supply store for at least three years and they have always been top notch in customer service and assisting us with our office needs and this was the true test. Matt worked with us to get what we needed and inturn we will continue to all our office supply business there. I don't know how many people buy company office supplies but the dollar amount is a cost that we just can't avoid. So it is comforting to know there is a large company that we can count on to help us with our small business needs. I ha...
