There is a new housing development in Lake Stevens called Westview Ridge. The houses start at $220,000 and rise depending on the size and the features of the home. There are still several houses open in the development. These houses are great for families or men and women hoping to start a family. The best part of this neigborhood, in my opinion, is the diversity. Its not a bunch 3 bedroom homes where you can expect a four-person household. The houses range from 3-4 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms. Which means, mathematically speaking, that you will have people that are different than you. Another nice perk that comes with these homes besides the pricing in the location. Lake Stevens, WA market statistics for December are not real bad considering the economy we are in at this time. There are a lot of markets really struggling right now. I would say that it is poor in some regions of the country but not here. In my opinion as long as the home has a good price, it sells. Fall is really here now. The pacific northwest is a beautiful place to live if I don't say so myself. There are current projects that are in the works because of the future growth plan of Lake Stevens. Roads are being widen and extended. The traffic is a little crazy, but it make sense to do it now before the actual number they anticipate get to the area. Townhouse in Lake Stevens WashingtonI need to take pictures of the outside of a townhouse in Lake Stevens Washington. The bank has hired us to give an opinion of price. Early in the morning I headed out to the townhouse in Lake Stevens Washington. I got to see Lake Stevens - a beautiful sight. However, my GPS didn’t track this townhouse in Lake Stevens Washington because it was a newer development. I whipped out my cell phone, which has up to date GPS. No wireless signal. So - imagine - I had to stop and ask directions!!They guided me right to this townhouse in Lake Stevens Washington. Only problem? The road had barriers right in the middle.  Obama throws a lifejacket to underwater homeowners It sounds like white house is trying to at least make another attempt to help the current foreclosure crisis. As of today, appairently, the Obama administration is launching an plan of attack to help the over 1.5 million homeowners who are under water down on their mortgages. Under this new plan, if the lender agrees to forgive at least 10% of the original mortgage amount, the Federal Housing Administration will allow lenders to give these owners refinanced loans. It would be an understatement to say that previous efforts to help fix our foreclosure crisis by the Obama administration have fallen short of expectations. Will this one be better? It's about that time again. Football season is about to start. Driving through the neighborhoods as I do often to see if there is anything in the community new for sale that I don't know about. I saw the HS teams practicing in the morning and the little league teams practicing in the evening. This is a sports crazy area in my opinion. Lake Stevens has very good sports programs for all ages. Get your dog and come visit one of Snohomish County Parks newest off leash dog parks located in the Lake Stevens area called the "Cavalero Park".  Located just off of 20th St. SE and 79th Ave. SE.  If you are coming from Everett just drive East on Highway 2 and go up the hill to Lake Stevens.  Just at the top of the hill at the Stop light is the corner of 20th and 79th Ave.  The off leash dog park is just on the South side of the road and just park in the parking lot and follow the trail. Welcome to not just another gated community but a "Flying Community" named Frontier Air Park located in Lake Stevens WA in Snohomish County.  Frontier Air Park is a private Airport just for the people who live there.  It has two runways one is Runway 15 that is 2600 feet in length and Runway 33 that is 3800 feet in length.  Most of the homes located within the park are on 5 acre lots and the homes with "Air Rights" have their own hangers (buildings) for their personal aircraft.  There are other homes without air rights located within the air park as well.  Its the only way to fly!
