It has been a blustery few weeks here on Bainbridge Island! Cold and sunny have taken over the dark rainy winter, to create brilliant blue skies that entice us to enjoy being outdoors in the great northwest.   Among the many places we frequent, a trip to Fay Bainbridge Park is high on our list for a brisk walk.  Driftwood piles along the waterfront make this an interesting and challenging walk for me, although my best four legged friend has no trouble at all enduring our obstacle course! One of my favorite picnic pavilions sits on the hill overlooking the water. I enjoy the smell of charred wood baked into the walls from years of fires built in the stone hearth it provides.
