I have just finished a 40 home tour in about 2 days. Okay some we drove by and said NO WAY . Our target a CONDO under 250k not to far from the beach min 2 beds 2 baths. 900-1300 SQ feet.  I was surprised to find quite a few that offered some great buys !!. Just 2 years ago I would have said GOOD LUCK !  the best of the best were actually in Chicks beach. If you have not seen Chicks Beach and you want a quite calm living area go check it out. So far we have settled on 3 choices , 1 is in Great Neck and the compromise of the beach criteria was let go because the community was so nice. The other 2 are near Chicks. We have submitted the offer and are working out the details. Not sure if the seller will take a couple grand off the price but we are trying.
