When preparing to sell a home it is very important to know how long it will take to get your home sold.  This can be very useful information in several different scenarios.  The first is if you are building a new home and it will be ready to close and move into on a exact date.  Most builders will not give you this date until a month or two before settlement.  This date will also be important if you are relocating and need to be at your new job at a specific time.  Most people need to be able to sell their current home before they can close on the next. This time frame is an average of course and you should make plans in case it sells sooner or later then the average home.  The price on a home will also allow the home to sell faster or slower but you should consult a knowledgeable Realt...

The inventory of Foreclosure or Bank Owned Properties has increased over the past year and a half.  Purchasing one of these homes may provide buyers with an opportunity to get into a home under market value.  Although, they may seem like a "good deal"  often times these homes may need repair work, cleaning, or appliances to be replaced...When you are looking for a foreclosure home, you will need to have an agent who can help you sift through all the, many factors that are involved in purchasing a foreclosure.....Give me a call, my name is Konnie Mckee, I am a real estate agent in Northern Virginia... my cell phone number is 703 407 7088 or visit me on the web www.KonnieMac.com

It is that time of year when many get into the spirit of giving and I wanted to get out there that there are many locations accepting all kinds of donations for a lot of different people in need, from the poor, to our men and women fighting  in Iraq.  We are currently accepting coats for Prince William Area Association of Realtors annual coat drive. Slightly worn or new coats are being collected in our Gainesville office until December 1, 2007, but I am sure that if you continue to bring coats we will get them where they need to be no matter how late you get them to us. Especially, since this Winter is turning out to be one of the warmest Winters we have had in history. We are also collecting very much needed supplies for our soldiers in Iraq. There is a long list of items from toiletry ...

Whether you should be buying a home now, or whether you should be waiting is a very important question that most potential home owners ask themselves.  If you're in the market to buy a home - is now a good time to buy or will houses continue to drop in price?  No one can say for sure what the market's going to do - but a good way to gauge what the market's going to do is look at the housing market in the past.  Will prices continue to drop through this year?  Probably.  What about 2008?  I can only tell you my thoughts on this.  I wish I had a crystal ball (don't we all - especially when the market dropped!!).  I think we'll see the market stablize in 2008 and we won't see things going up until 2009 ... but this is only my observation and thoughts on this. Now, back to the original quest...
