Capitol Reef National Park Capitol Reef is not a well known place in comparison to the Grand Canyon, Zions National Park, or even Bryce Canyon. The terrain is beautiful here. Much diversity. Great hiking, mountain biking, camping, and sight seeing. There are places you can jump from waterfalls to pools below, There are many different types and degree of difficulty hikes throughout the area. This past Saturday Darcy and I travelled to my Uncle's funeral.  I blogged over a month ago about his passing.  He had lived the last 20 years of his life in Australia.  It was kind of surreal, normally when someone dies you have the funeral while the shock of their passing is still fresh.  My Aunt, decided to bring my Uncle back to the small town where he was born and bury him along side his parents and other family members.  She decided that she would wait until the weather warmed up and the snow was mostly gone before having the graveside service.  Hence the time between his passing and the burial.  It gave time for things to settle, the sting of the loss is still there just not as sharp.
