Not a new possibility for investing but new to many investors  is the ability to  use an IRA fund as the Investment Tool for Real Estate.  Using a Self Directed IRA for Real Estate expands your possibilities and probably your investment income for retirement.Earning more from appreciation and rental income into your  IRA than your are with mutual funds is a big possibility.  There are alot of resources for information about IRA Investment into Real Estate.I have studied Self Directed IRAs and IRA LLC checking accounts and  love to share that information with clients that have IRAs that can benefit  them as a   source for investment.

Recently heading toward Vernal I could not pass up snapping a few shots of this incredible double and full rainbow!  It was the most brilliant rainbow I have ever seen in my entire life.  The dark sky was an excellent backdrop....Other drivers were by the road with their cameras taking memories of the rainbow.

Vernal Utah plants hundreds of pots with petunias each year. The run from the beginning of town on Hwy 40, down Main Street and out to Hwy 40 on the other end of town. It is an amazing display of color. Last spring I posted pictures of the petunias announcing spring. The flowers in the fall were even better. By then they had exploded from their pots and were heading down the curb to the road.

I got the chance to take pictures in September of the area around Vernal Utah. The weather was warm and great for hiking, rock hunting, and of course taking photos. We drove up near Red Cloud Loop for a few hours to enjoy the scenery and we were not disappointed. The Aspen trees were a wonderful contrast with their bright yellow leaves.

Set aside November 28, 2008 for the Holly Days in Vernal Utah. There will be events to participate in from 12-9 pm. The list is so long that I will just mention a few. The day starts with a Turkey Drawing  at 12:00 pm at the Cobble Rock Park and there is a prize drawing at 8:30 pm at the county building. You must be present to win. You can enjoy a ride in a horse drawn carriage, ride the Holly Trolley between venues, or let the children ride the Polar Express Children's Train Ride. A Christmas matinee is available or for the more adventurous the Community Center is offering swimming, rock wall climbing, and an obstacle course. There is something for everyone from concerts, crafts, ice skating, carnival rides and games, professional ice sculpturing demonstration, and soap carving. You ca...

I was delighted to see Christmas decoration going up in Vernal. Cobble Rock Park has beautiful wreaths hanging on the fences and entryway. There are santas hang on posts. They have decorated the light posts with red garland and snowflake tops. It won't be long and they will be turning on the Christmas lights. I can't wait to see the snowflakes lit up all the way down Main Street!

The Vernal Utah Market has gone up and up and is staying up.  The following chart shows the numbers from the MLS for the months up to October of each year shown. There are many first time home buyers and the lower priced homes are selling quickly.  The increase in foreclosures is benefiting the buyers that are willing to do a little work and increase the value.

We took a short afternoon trip  North of Vernal, Utah last week to enjoy the fall colors and were not disappointed.  I love the light thru the leaves and especially the orange and red hues. The contrast against the dark evergreen trees brought out the colors. This area is on one of the Scenic Byway Routes. I hope you are enjoying the beauty of the change of seasons where your are.  Take a drive and get away from the hassles.

Vernal, Utah is growing and experiencing a good market.  Buyers are coming in and calling to find homes. We have the energy business here and  all the reports I read  speak of  nothing but progress and expansion plans. We have new construction for business' and  the new college campus taking shape.  Everything is busy and I am optimistic. If we can keep the loans coming for our good buyers and enough affordable houses for them to choose from we will be doing great.

We made a visit to the Colton Draw Guard Station  in the Ashley National Forest where the house is rented out to vacationers.  It has not been used as a Guard Station for a long time. It is north of Vernal on our beautiful mountains. It is a  nice house with running  hot water, toilet, stove and beds.  We had a wonderful time. It was a fun adventure and I am we will do it again.sure
