Enjoy the First Day of Spring at the Old Fashioned St George Carousel! Today is officially the first day of Spring!  Luckily, the sun is out and the weather is absolutely gorgeous here in St George Utah. It's a great day to visit St George Town Square and watch the kids run through the lazy stream or take a ride on the gorgeous old fashioned carousel. Cottontail Scramble in St George UT | Easter Events in St George UT 2015 On Monday, March 30, 2015 the City of St George will hold it's annual Cottontail Scramble Egg Hunt.  The festivities start at 5:15 pm and run until 7:00 pm at the Tonaquint Nature Center. Tonaquint Nature Center is located 1851 S. Dixie Dr, St George. Peter Cottontail will be hopping into Tonaquint Nature Center and hiding hundreds of eggs throughout the park for children ages 2-8.  Kids can start check in and pick up their bag and craft at 5:15 pm. Hog & Jog 5k in St George Utah | March 28, 2015 Who doesn't love bacon?  What a great way to indulge in a little bacon and burn off some of those calories while participating in a wonderful fund raiser for the homeless. The Hog and Jog 5K is bringing home the bacon for the homeless.  This 5K Fun Run is all about that bacon.  There will be bacon at the start of the race.  There will be bacon at the aid station. Homes in St George UT with Low Home Owners Fees | Coral Canyon Not familiar with Coral Canyon?  Coral Canyon is a spectacular golf course community with low HOA fees and wonderful amenities, including indoor & outdoor pools for year round enjoyment, just to name a few of it's highlights!   The Coral Canyon real estate market remained steady in January 2015.  Home sales were exactly the same in December 2014 and January 2015. St. George Utah News: All Abilities Park Underway   The first disabled-friendly recreational facility of it's kind in the southern Utah area will be located at 1851 South Dixie Drive adjacent to the Tonaquint Nature Center in St. George. The official groundbreaking ceremony was held January 15, 2015 and everything is now full steam ahead. How do you gauge an Open House success?   A fellow real estate agent and I scheduled an open house event on a busy weekend, taking advantage of some the Annual St. George Area Parade of Homes traffic already in the area.   In order to measure the effectiveness of all advertising efforts, we asked everyone who walked through the door how they found us. The following are some of the results:    A family of five from California said they got lost and saw the open house directional signs. Southern Utah, a welcome place for police officers to retire.   Yesterday, a couple from another state walked into the downtown St. George office of PK Real Estate Utah. They were in town on business and during the course of the conversation, I asked the reasons why they were looking to relocate to the southern Utah area.     He said that several fellow police officers in his area are currently planning to make Washington County, Utah their final destination.
