While watching thick clouds quickly roil in just above the red rock butte in Ivins, Utah, an arm appears to be throwing a puff ball overhand to another part of the sky. Aha! That must be how these continuing clouds move on so hurriedly while heading to other parts of the vast beyond. Ruh-roh! This looks like a rough spot to get out of but I'm sure he'll do just fine, he's dogged and determined to get back to his golf game! This week's Board Tour took us to the Kachina Springs subdivision located in Ivins, Utah. The Entrada Golf Club is an 18-hole privately held golf course strategically situated among black lava rock beds and surrounded by southern Utah's amazing red rock cliffs. The homes are upscale, adobe flat roof-style with xeroscaped yards, water cascades down lava rock waterfalls in the rear of the homes. The Odyssey Dance Theatre's "THRILLER" performance at Tuacahn Ampitheatre is part of our family's yearly tradition of things that go bump in the night! The evening includes: Goblins, skeletons and ghouls, shrieking and screaming...amazing music, singing, choreography and macabre humor! I've lost "My Mouse!" During the 15 minute intermission for the Broadway Musical Crazy for You at Tuacahn Ampitheatre, we noticed the people behind us scurrying to find something lost. I asked if I could help, curious of what to look for. The lady said her 2 year old lost his little mouse. Okay, armed with that knowledge, I began earnestly looking around and under the seats for a cute, cuddly child's toy, hoping to find it for the little boy. "I found it", said the dad, and sure enough, it was - a mouse! Not the one I was thinking of but one complete with a length of wire that served as the ‘tail' and all I could do is laugh! Obviously, the 2 year old was into high-tech toys of the not-so-fluffy variety...ahhh the things that comfort us!  10/14/2010
