Cornfest in Enterprise Utah | 2018 UpdateSaturday was a gorgeous day to visit Enterprise Utah and attend their annual Cornfest.  The weather was about 15 degrees cooler in Enterprise than St George which made it just about perfect for a late summer day.  We arrived about 11:30 am and the festivities were in full swing.  Lots of fun activities for the kids to do including bounce houses and a rock climbing wall.  There were lots of local artisans selling their wares and plenty of food stands to choose from.  There was also a car show with plenty of vintage cars to see up close.  Owners set up their tents behind their cars to visit with people as they meandered through the display.  Of course, no visit to the Cornfest in Enterprise Utah would be complete without a trip to the farmers marke... 08/27/2018

Enterprise Cornfest in Enterprise UT - 2018The Enterprise Cornfest is celebrating it's 28th year and the event gets bigger and better every year!  It's definitely worth the short drive to Enterprise from St George to attend.  You can be there in less than an hour, and the drive is lovely.    An estimated 4000-5000 people attend this event every year.  The best thing about the event is that all proceeds from Cornfest benefit the Enterprise Parks & Recreation and Enterprise schools.There will be live entertaintment for the whole family to enjoy, and a corn eating contest for different age groups.  Corn eating contest not your thing?  There will also be rootbeer chugging, rubber chicken toss, milk moustache and pie eating contests.  The car show and booths will begin at 10 am. The best amateur rodeo in Southern Utah, the Enterprise Rodeo. NO BULL!  The Enterprise Rodeo is a 3-day amateur rodeo that has been a yearly tradition since the early 1900s and a favorite, local southern Utah event. The boys would wear their finest western wear and off we'd go for a great night of entertainment. We always left with more great family memories and one year, took home a hen and a rooster pair that were pets for several years! This year's rodeo will be held at 8:00 p.m. on: Thursday, July 21st Friday, July 22nd & Saturday, July 23rd  Events include Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, and Team Roping as well as the Chicken, Bunny Chase and Watermelon Donkey relay! Enterprise Cornfest 2013 | August 24, 2013 The Enterprise Corn Festival is one event you don't want to miss this year!  It's being held on Saturday, August 24 2013, 10am-4pm, at the Enterprise Elementary School.  Enterprise is just a short drive from St George Utah and the weather tends to be a little cooler. It's the perfect way to spend a Saturday in August! There will be plenty of FRESH corn to eat and buy to enjoy at home.  There is also a Vintage Car show, Fun Run, live entertainment, craft booths, food booths and a kids area with activities for all ages planned for the event.  This year's activities will include the Kids Zone, which is held indoors at the elementary school.
