 You may have already read all the nice and polite articles about what to do and not to do when getting a mortgage.  And many of them may have had real cute titles.  Well, this article is to get your attention on things that could MURDER your loan approval.  Here is a list of 10 items that could cause your loan to be denied.  These are all things to think of before making an offer on a home, as you could lose your dream home over them.  Here they are Opening new credit- Once you are pre-approved for a mortgage do not open or apply for any new credit accounts.  The reason for this is that right before closing a new credit report could be pulled to see if any new accounts have been opened.  So just because your lender says you are pre-approved or even approved, this does not mean run out ...

Market report:  The median list price for Sugar Land is currently $410,000. There are also 615 properties on the market. Which is different than Richmond at 998 properties. So if you're looking for a home, its a great time to buy. Compared to Richmond, this is a very large difference in the number of homes we have on the market. Which means, as of right now, it is both a Seller's and Buyer's Market Advantage. If you're thinking about buying or selling a home in the Sugar Land area, it might be your time to shine! Right now, our average for properties to stay on the market is 82 days. And compared to last week, this has stayed the same. Which means homes are staying steady, which is not a bad thing at all! Sugar Land, TX is a place you want to be. Along with the community being so united, we have a place for everyone.  Take the New Territory Women's Association, for example. They are a group of women involved in Community Service along with fun and friendship!  The NTWA is a group for women, whether you are residing in New Territory or not, that devotes their time to community service and just having fun. Sugar Land flood zones–Sugar Land is located near the Brazos river and has an elevation of 100ft, therefore, flooding is a potential hazard that needs to be understood. There are also many neighborhood lakes (and Oyster Creek) that run through Sugar Land and could serve as potential flood hazards.
