  We have a Water Alarm Device behind the refrigerator, under the kitchen sink, under the bath basin and behind the washer machine.                        We purchased these dvices last year. They are battery operated; and available from a big box store. We purchased the Water Alarms in New Braunfels Texas at Home Depot. Let me tell you they work. This morning the Water Alarm went off just as Ceil was walking into the house. The sound was coming from the kitchen so she quickly went and disarmed it. She said the sound was deafening but did what it was suppose to do....a small leak. I was able to do the repair myself with my trusty wrench. Just think how long that little leak would leak without the alarm notifying us that there was a problem. Definitely a YES to purchase. Very affordable ...

Seguin Catepillar Plant to Start Production in June 2010 I read recently that production at the new Catepillar plant in Seguin Texas is to start production around June 15th. Seems like it was just yesterday that they were breaking ground for construction. Here a some of the details: Some employee's were hired in December and started  training in early January with most of it taking place at the Central Texas Technology Center. There also is an area on site within the plant that has been designated for training. Trainees already are working with Caterpillar engines and in a basic learning phase.
