Recently I sold a home for some wonderful clients who moved out of state to fulfill their dream of retiring to a golf course community where they could be closer to their friends. I met the buyer during the transaction and she seemed very nice. But you know what is not nice? Her obnoxious dog. Four times in the last couple weeks since she moved in, he has dug under the fence and popped up on our deck, scaring the cats out of their wits and getting mud on the patio. Yes, the dog lives behind me now, along with its friend, another dog that is not a digger. It is a barker. So even when I don't actually see a dog, I can often hear a dog instead. I like dogs, but just as with children, I think they should be trained to not annoy people. I miss my old neighbors even more now, with their sweet...

No Fireworks For Independence Day this Year in San Antonio TX and Surrounding Cities, But Still an Explosive Time to be Had at Schertz TX's 36th Annual Jubilee! That right, this year San Antonio TX and surrounding cities have a city-wide ban on Fireworks due to the drought.  No big deal though, Schertz TX will still celebrate America's birthday in style with their 36th Annual Jubilee from HEB at Pickrell Park. Schertz, TX starts celebrating early this Friday on the 1st of July and events will continue through the 4th of July!  Who doesn't LOVE a carnival?!  Well, there will be one with a Ferris wheel, roller coaster, games, prizes and all that other stuff that comes with carnivals.  Hours are 6pm-11pm July 1-3 and 10am-11pm on the 4th! The Price is in the Pudding (Yeah, I know it's Proof), so Put it in There. If your home has been on the market for what may be considered a long time, an idea to make your property seem more desirable might be to  entice the agent with a bonus.   Now I like bonuses as much as the next guy, but I personally don't think that is going to get your property sold any quicker.  When I am searching for a home for my buyer, I look for homes that are in their price range and for homes that are going to meet their conditions.  If my buyer needs a home that is no more than, lets say, 160,000 and you have your home priced at 161,500 (numbers made up to prove a point) and you are offering a $2000 bonus to the agent your property falls outside of my client's range.  All you need to do is switch that $...
