I was born and raised in the Garden Ridge, Texas area.  I guess the first trophy I got in life was being the first born once it became an incorporated city, although I think my parents should have gotten the trophy.  Well the area has grown more than I could have ever imagined as a child and San Antonio is growing into New Braunfels.  The oil fields south of San Antonio have exploded and New Braunfels is no longer the small town I remember as a child, although the local Whataburger still exists and teens continue to cruise it on a Friday night. I love Amazon. Not only do I get things delivered to my front door, and have the chance to read reviews of something I'm considering buying, but I can track my purchases. Earlier this year I bought a water fountain for my cats, since they were getting bored with drinking water out of a plain old bowl or toilet. The electrical adapter fell apart the other day. I contacted the manufacturer to get a new one, and they asked me when I had purchased it.
