Pay It Forward.......With a Big Bag of Books.....to Senior Assisted Living Residents in Rockwall I love books!  My love for books has resulted in my home becoming over run with stacks of books throughout my life.  Every real cleaning and de-cluttering has resulted in large bags of books needing to find a new home.   I finally have the perfect answer for what to do with all my beloved books after I have read them.  I took a big bag to a Rockwall Assisted Living Center for their library and the management loved it and I know the residents will also.  My parents lived in assisted living for several years and I know that they enjoyed being able to go to the center library and have a really nice selection of books.  Books are expensive to buy and assisted living residents usually do not have... 09/18/2011

You can never go back!  I treasure this picture made less than a year before the fateful 9/11/2001. This was a care free day of sight seeing with three good friends.  A friend of mine from Rockwall and I had met two other good friends from San Fransisco in New York.  I remember almost every minute of that exciting day.  This was in that "other" world, the "before" world!  Before the world changed forever! I attended ActiveRain Camp today!  What was different about this from the other ActiveRain Camp I attended?   I was at my home office early and took care of all my ActiveRain biz - posted, commented, etc. No travel time. I took care of my personal business rather than spending time traveling. No travel expense!  Yea!!! Attended entire Rain Camp from my office. Immediately back at work once camp ended. (I never left!)
