The Crisis Closet       The Crisis Closet is a community outreach program and ministry of the Riverside Baptist Church. With the help of the Houston Food Bank as well as monetary and clothing donations, they help provide food and clothing to families in need. While the Crisis Closet is located inside the city limits of Riverside, they serve residents from all over Walker County.   The Crisis Closet is currently housed in the old sanctuary at Riverside Baptist Church.  Plans are under way to build a new building for the youth to share with the Crisis Closet. The Thomas Lake Road Community Association will hold their annual garage sale on Saturday April 2, 2011 from 8 am to 2 pm. Here's a little photo video of The Princess Ball that was held at our church. The girls were each presented with a tiara from their daddy. The were told to write a letter to their dad and the dad's were told to write a letter to them. Neither knew that the other was doing it. Some tears were shed. (Okay, YES... I cried too!!) They danced, they twirled... dinner was served and it was just a GREAT time! Nope... I don't have any little girls... I just got to go because I have a camera. Wow! So thankful for that camera! Fishing Lake Livingston!     As I was traveling to Trinity this morning, I couldn’t help but notice all the trucks and trailers EVERYWHERE! The public boat ramp in Riverside was packed and overflowing.     They filled every space, were parked up the hill... and even along both the north and south bound lanes of Highway 19 in Riverside.     I googled to see if there was a fishing tournament going on and nope, no fishing tournament!   The hubby stopped by the office and I asked him. The answer.... The white bass are still running. They are further up river, but they are still there! So... hurry if you don’t want to miss out!! 03/26/2011

Today I closed and funded on this beautiful waterfront home in Carolina Cove.  If you are trying to sell your home, here' a few selling tips.       Make a great 1st Impression! Clean up and manicure your yard (front and back). Plant some flowers, paint the front door. You want the house to scream WELCOME HOME!             LEAVE when the house is being shown!!  I can not STRESS this enough.
