WOW - Look at the Pearland TX real estate market.  It looks to me as if the rebound has started.  We are following the trends of the last 2 years and we have less inventory to sell.  So to me, the Pearland Real Estate Expert, prices of single family homes in the PearlandTX area should start to increase and follow the tend of the last 2 years.  Although the number of homes being sold in the Pearland TX area are down, now is the time to both BUY and Sell real estate in and around Pearland. The Pearland TX real estate market is doing GREAT.  In looking at the real estate market in Pearland, one can see we are following the same trend as the last 2 years.  The median price is flat for Jan 07-09. The Pearland Parkway has recently been extended through Pearland on to Beltway 8. McHard Rd has been connected through hwy 35 and Future plans for The Pearland Parkway include expansion to Dixie Farm Rd.   Pearland Parkway has recently been a real hot spot for new home community developments. Pearland offers great schools, a small town atmosphere, and easy access to downtown Houston.    Below you can see the Pearland Parkway winding it's way from beltway 8 to 518 Broadway in Pearland.   Here you can see the masive development of the Lakes at Highland Glenn. A short sale is defined as the sale of a home in which the proceeds fall short of what the owner still owes.  Lenders will agree to accept the proceeds of a short sale and forgive the rest of what is owed on the mortgage when the owner cannot make the mortgage payments.
