In my last blog I was concentrating on getting ready for the next big event in Bandera Texas.  I thought it was the Hunter's Bar b que, but I totally forgot about the tastiest festival of all in the county-  The Cajun Festival in Lakehills!!  I don't know how that could have slipped my mind- especially since that was the place of my first date with my husband, 14 years ago!   I remember like it like it happened yesterday- I volunteered to work the bread pudding booth- and I've been in love ever since!   In love not just with my husband, but with bread pudding- it literally melts in your mouth!  You have to try it- along with the crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and the gumbo.  Live music is the order of the day, so bring your dancing shoes, thousands head to the lake ...
