FHA, Federal Housing Administration recently released the new plan to allow first time home buyers to use the $8000 federal tax credit to be used for the purchase of their home. This has been announced in the past but put on hold. Home buyers still must come up with the FHA required 3.5 percent down payment. This will be a huge lift for the housing industry across the country. Home buyers still have to come up with the original Federal Housing Administration required 3.5 percent down payment themselves. This can come about in a series of ways. Gifting from relatives is an option.
