Ahhh….I love the morning!  It’s very peaceful .  And  I just love when it’s so quiet that you can hear the appliances hum.  I love to put on a pot of strong coffee  and get the newspaper out of the driveway (my dogs are too “high maintenance” to fetch the paper).  Then, I read the Sunday paper, do a sudoku puzzle, check the Walgreen’s ad to see if my brand of make-up is on sale this week.  Then……It’s “Puppy Time!”   “Puppy Time” is a phrase my husband coined.  “Puppy Time” is a “Love-fest” of kissing and belly rubbing, playing and getting fingers and toes bitten by sharp puppy teeth.  We LOVE “Puppy Time.”  So, now that “Puppy Time” has officially commenced, the puppinos are now “helping me” to read the Sunday paper by carryi... 12/19/2011

December’s Season for Celebrating and Sharing: Bridge Ministry I received an email from my friend Bert Lyle, giving an update on their Bridge Ministry. Bert was celebrating the number of supplies that were donated from the community and seeking prayer for their trip tomorrow night (December 16). Bert works a lot with the college students at Sam Houston State University. One of the ministries that he helps with is the Bridge Ministry.  This ministry provides blankets, jackets, clothing, food and water to the homeless living under or near the Pierce Street elevated bridge in Houston.  While supplying these basic needs, these missionaries share the Truth and Love of Jesus Christ. Huntsville Lions Club Christmas Parade Saturday, December 3, 2011 6:00 PM We love to attend the annual Huntsville Lions Club Christmas Parade.  They have it on the 1st Saturday in December EVERY year. It has become a tradition of ours! If it's cold, I am going to bundle up... bring along a big cup of hot chocolate... and of course the camera!  Our youth from church will be playing in the high school band, and there will be... fire trucks, mini cars,  cheerleaders, semi trucks, and maybe even a tractor.... We will probably see our boy scouts, the fair queen, and FOR SURE we will see SANTA!  Why would you want to miss it?!   So if you are going to be in the parade this Saturday, look for me!
