The median price of a single-family home broke a record last month, jumping 11.9 percent to $188,000. Houston home total sales also reached another milestone, with more homes sold on May than any month in the city's history.Buyers closed on 7,794 single-family homes, a 28% rise compared to last May according to the latest monthly report from the Houston Association of Realtors.All these project a strong Houston real estate market.
