This is the story about 2 farmers who needed rain. Both prayed for rain. But only one of them went out to prepare his fields to receive it. Which one do you think trusted God to send the Rain? The answer: The one who prepared his fields. Big Question: Which one are you? God will send the rain when He is ready. All you do is to prepare your fields to receive it. We serve a God that opens doors no one can shut. He shuts doors where no one can open. In Revelations 3, God said, "I have placed for you an open door that no one can shut. I know you dont have much strength yet you have kept my word and did not deny My name. Keep a tight grip with what you have so no one can distract you and steal your crown. I will keep you safe in the time of testing." God is not through with you. Until He is ...

It seems everyday I drive by some open parcel of land in Frisco or Celina and wonder what is being built there? Yesterday as I drove out of the Cobb Hill community of Frisco I saw a new commercial sign on the corner of the Dallas North Tollway.  A little Google research and a phone call and I found out that Texas Health Resources recently purchased the 20-acre tract at the southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Cobb Hill Drive in Frisco. At this time details on the development are unknown, but I'll keep you posted.  What we do know is Texas Health Resources is one of the largest faith-based, nonprofit U.S. health care systems with 13 hospitals and more than 2,600 licensed beds.  It is also a large Dallas-Fort Worth area employer with 18,250 employees and 3,700 physicians.  The...

Can you guess the population of Frisco as of May 1st? It's NOT What You think!Every time I see Frisco's growth in numbers all I can say is WOW! This time I'm really saying WOW because I'm so used to telling you what big leaps and bounds our city has grown by.  For the first time I'm telling you our population has shrunk.  Yes, shrunk!  When I saw May's population numbers I was sure it was a mistake and I waited to write this post until I got a second report to confirm. So here it is, confirmed by NCTCOG, last month Frisco lost an estimated 757 residents.  But, so we lost a few, we are still not Lowry, SD population 90!!!It is still estimated that we will go over the 100,000 mark later this year. In fact, according to the Texas State Water Board, Frisco's population will continue to rise ...

The correct answer is; I have always been a good boy in a "High Delinquency" Area.I am writing this for the express reason that I know that the "wanker" I got into it with today will undoubtedly read this. Considering he did several hours of background research on me today and then had the nerve to call my broker, I thought he should read the letter above. Just because you have a law degree does not make you right all the time. Nor, does it make you a figure that people should bow down to. I won't say I told you so, but I will write it......I told you so!!!!I just have one question, what is an out of state attorney, who practices intellectual property doing advising people on real estate matters in Texas? My job is to represent my clients and that's just what I did today, so live with i...

Jimmy Buffett Played Frisco's Pizza Hut Park Saturday, April 28, 2007. He opened with Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" but also did awesomecovers of Hank Williams' "Hey, Good Lookin'," Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl," Guy Clark's "Cinco de Mayo in Memphis," Lyle Lovett's "If I Had a Boat" and Crosby, Stills & Nash's "Southern Cross."  His back drop was a saloon that filled the stage and the clock: It was stuck on 5 p.m. Everybody in attendance knows that this refers to his 2003 hit with Allen Jackson, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere."The set lasted nearly three hours and was said to be one of his finest in recent memory. Videos of the parties in the parking lot earlier in the day Saturday played on the big screen. People dressed in Hawaiian skirts, wearing parrot noses and parrot head...

There's a large vacant lot behind a property I'm considering purchasing. What's going to be built there? The City can't predict what will actually be developed on a piece of property. However, you can get an idea of what the land might be used for by checking the zoning of the vacant property on the GIS Map, then using the land use chart in the Use of Land and Buildings to see what uses are allowed in the property's zoning Instructions: Type in the address you are interesting inPan left, right, up or down to the precise areaClick on the drop down menus to select the overlays you want to seeClick Update Map to add new overlaysClick Clear Map to remove the overlay(s)Click land use chart in the Use of Land and Buildings to see what uses are allowed in the property's zoning classification. I believe that everything is interconnected. Everything has its time and place. Everything happens for a reason. As a Listing agent, I find trying to explain this concept to a Seller (who eagerly awaits for the offer on the house) may not take this advice very well. I totally understand that. After they have worked so hard to prepare for the sale of the house, most Sellers are anxious to move on. How could someone not understand that? I feel that I'm called to become some people's real estate agent. I know I'm not called to help every single buyer and seller out there. So, with the best of my ability, I'm out there, armored to make the sale happen. But sometimes, it's not the house. Some houses sit longer than others and I have seen too many examples that it's not necessarily the price ...
