Justin's Seafood   Justin's Seafood is a new restaurant that recently opened at 706 South Friendswood Drive in Friendswood Texas. The owner of Justin's Seafood came from Louisiana. If anyone can fry fish it is someone from Louisiana! As you may have guessed Justin's Seafood is Cajun food. I am not a real big fan of Cajun food but I do like very spicy food. On my way home from photographing a new listing this evening, I had to pull off of the road to take a picture of this beautifully vibrant rainbow that God placed over the Friendswood sky.   It was bigger and brighter than the ones we normally see. And apparently in some areas it was seen as a full-blown horizon-to-horizon rainbow. I took a few pictures by the water tower as I came into town, then drove to Friendswood Lakes, a more scenic spot to capture the beauty. Unfortunately, I didn't get to the lake before the sun started to dip and the rainbow started to fade away. Oh well! It was beautiful anyway!       10/18/2013

Most of the people who live in Friendswood love their town, according to a survey recently conducted by the city.   It's not a surprise to me that 96 percent of those surveyed rated Friendswood as "Excellent" or "Good" as a place to live. And, 93 percent rated the city as "Excellent" or "Good" as a place to raise children. Ninety-seven percent of those surveyed rate Friendswood as a "Very Safe" or "Safe" community.   The city surveyed 400 residents who correspond to the demographics of Friendswood as a whole, and gathered opinions about  public safety, streets and infrastructure, taxes, parks and recreation, and other quality-of-life-related topics. It has really been hot in our area and usually is in August and September. The public swimming pools are crowded and you can't rent a public swimming pool if you wanted to!
