The deadline for paying your property taxes for Hays county residents is fast approaching. Typically your property taxes are due on January 31st but due to the deadline falling on Sunday this year, taxes are due February 1st. If you feel that you are being over assessed please contact me and I would be happy to provide you with comparable home sales for the tax period being assessed. In my opinion the biggest change is the days on market (DOM) up 13.2% to 110. The moral of the story, price your home aggressively and be patient.
