Not all plastic can be recycled. Look for the recycling symbol to be sure. Did you know? Your local community or trash pickup firm can usually advise on recycling regulations. Do Recycle: High-quality plastics labeled with number one and two recycling symbols. Food and beverage containers, such as milk, soda, water, salad dressings, etc. Jars and canisters such as those used for peanut butter, soap, and aspirin bottles, etc. Mail, junk and otherwise, including brochures, fliers, white/light envelopes, etc. Aluminum, tin and steel cans, such as soda, beer, tuna, vegetable, etc. Printed paper su...

Now here is a fun English Proverb that I heard about worrying:  Worrying is like sitting in a rocking chair, It gives you something to do... But it doesn't get you anywhere.          Don't waste your time worrying...life is too short.Spend your time doing things that will not only keep youfrom worrying, but will make you happy!

WHY USE A REALTOR? I participate in a neighborhood blog that's a ":chapter" of a national blog.  It's called NEXTDOOR.  Perhaps you do, as well, in your farming area.Several of my Nextdoor friends asked me to explain why it's of particular value for anyone to use a Realtor. This is the video I prepares.  WHY USE A REALTOR?  I was thinking you may get some value out of it as well, as it provides the unvarnished truth as to how and why our program is a very important component. So here it is:  WHY USE A REALTOR? BILL CHERRYRealtor and Wealth AdvisorDallas214 503-8563www.WilliamCherryRealtor.comandwww.ParkAvenue WealthAdvisors.com

When’s the Best Time to Sell Your Dallas Home? Here are some do's and don'ts for deciding when to sell: DO give serious thought to when would be ideal for you. Consider your family, your lifestyle and all the other happenings in your life. DON'T base your decision to sell strictly on the season. Or your mother's advice or your neighbor's, for that matter. DO spend time to prepare your home for sale. DO consider whether your area is in a buyer's market (with more houses for sale) or a seller's market (with more buyers than houses). You'll probably sell a bit faster in a seller's market. DON'T forget to consider the buyer. Remember what attracted you to your home and figure out when's the best time to showcase that. DO talk with me, your agent, about my thoughts on the timing of your home...

There are so many things to love about the     greater Dallas Metroplex that it is difficult     to name them all.  But here are five of my     favorite things that I love about living in Dallas:  1.  Our beautiful weather and the fact that we actually enjoy four different seasons of the year.  Although our summer heat can get high, with typical temperatures staying at 100+ in August…our winter is exceptional with only occasional freezing temperatures and (maybe) a light snow fall once or twice.  But the snow doesn’t last, we are lucky to enjoy it for a day or two and then it is back to sunny skies. 2.   Our fabulous parks and lakes – Texas is abundant with them and the Dallas area has a wonderful array of lakes and parks to enjoy.  3.  Our cultural venues which include art mus...

The low inventory trend is changing for the Dallas area, but the available pre-owned homes (resale) remains well below what we need.  June, as with prior months, reflected a much needed increase in that inventory:      New construction homes had a slight increase in their available inventory from 2017:        And although the median price fluctuates month to month, it is exciting to see that the median home price continues to rise for our Dallas Real Estate market in resale homes:        And homes are being listed and sold within a close margin, showing that the pricing is on target for both resale and new construction homes:       Are you ready to search for your new Dallas area Dream Home?     Click the logo to begin!
