In today's Dallas City council meeting it was proposed to have your dog or cat spade or neutered. In recent years there have been lots and lots of dogs and cats rooming the streets and starving to death. They do what they can to survive but some don't make it. It is a sad world we live in especially when it is too late to provide a nice home and good food to these animals. There are not alot of people that can provide for these animals so the unthinkable has to take place. There was a good turn out in favor of passing this new ordinance. It will limit the number of pets you have and it also states you would have to neuter or spay your pet. If you are a breeder then you would have to pay a fee every year. I don't recall the amount. Galen is a retired biology teacher from the Garland ISD, but he's had one big jazz orchestra or another for thirty-five years.  And while he won't tell you this I will: He was with the famed Woody Herman Band along the way. Why are Buyers still settling for substandard services when they don't have to?  I'm all about educating and letting people know how things could and should be done.  I got a lead in on my website a couple of days ago.  He marked that he already had a realtor, so I sent back a message asking what kind of services his Realtor offers if he's needing to use another Realtor's site for information.  Part of his response was, "Your updates have been more help than any Realtor in the Dallas area. There is a mini-drama playing out here in North Texas.  And before it's over it could get both ugly and costly for drivers. One of the main thoroughfares in the Dallas area is Mockingbird Lane.  Mockingbird Lane (which is named after the state bird of Texas, not after the street that Darrin and Samantha lived on in the TV show Bewitched) is an East-West surface road ranging from 2 to 6 lanes depending on the location. According to news reports, more than 18,000 drivers a day use Mockingbird Lane to cut from East Dallas, through Highland Park to get out to the West side of Dallas.  Well, now Highland Park officials have floated the idea of turning a portion of Mockingbird Lane (the part that runs through their jurisdiction) into a toll road... the first surface street toll road in Americ... 06/14/2008

Dallas citizens are being warned to "pay or stay".  The city has posted an online web-site with the names of all persons who have outstanding warrants, free for the public to view.  Information on the site includes your full name, number of warrants, and amount due.  You can pay from the web-site which will be updated weekly. New FHA Loan Limits in Dallas, County Texas  Well with a good portion of the nation suffering with the Real Estate Market, and the mortgage meltdowns tightening up the credit requirements, FHA (Federal Housing Authority) has created new loan limits for most of the nation.
