It has been a wild and crazy day. Thought I was going to get up run a few errands, and then do paperwork. Well, what was I thinking. Had one listing needing paperwork, and a new listing trying to do paperwork. Then I got a showing, no sign in yard or lockbox. My client wasnt thinking it would show that fast so she was cleaning closets. Well our mistake we ran around trying to get that house ready to show. It is now 10:45 pm and I am just know slowing down. I pray that one of my listings get a contract this weekend. The buyer is chosing between my listing and another. So i pray it is my listing. Dallas, TX area real estate is heating up, litteraly! Really! It's been so hot in Dallas, TX, Corinth, TX and Denton, TX and everywhere in between that taking clients for a home showing tour has been a sweaty experience! Just getting in and out of the car, in and out of the backyard will make you suffer! Not to mention going inside HUD homes with utilities off! Unless you are organized your clients might become miserable. I dress light. No heels. Have water bottles for all in the car. RE/MAX hot air balloon came to present their "How Hot Air Rises" program to Hawk Elementary School in Corinth, TX in late February.  My broker, Kelly Hudnall of RE/MAX North Associates of Denton, generously donated the funds to allow the RE/MAX balloon to come out to the school.  The kids learned about thermodynamics and some plain fun stories about hot air balloons. This particular balloon could hold the equivalent of 65,000 basketballs (65,000 cubic feet) of air  Huge, huh?!  Nothing pleased the kids more (or scared them more) than when the balloon pilot would fire it up and it let out a loud burst of fire breathing air!  The kids all had a blast!  This event was set up to celebrate the completion of their science fair earlier that week.  Many thanks to Kelly and Jennifer for setting ...
