The Welcome Committee! Texas Hill Country Gate Art ................ "Living and Love Living at Canyon Lake TX". Gate-Art is a big thing here in The Texas Hill Country. We choose deer and an oak tree for the Gate-Art; seems appropriate since we have so many Hill Country deer in the area.  The other morning some deer came up the driveway and stopped at the gate, I hit the button and they walked right in. Now every time they come up to the gate they stop and wait for the gate to open. 11/13/2011

Senior Citizens just having fun! Here's a Thought Provoker for Senior Citizens - Yes we are senior citizens trying to keep up with all this Texting stuff. If we can only remember all the short-cuts. My sister-in-law sent me an email with some of these, some I knew and some we added and some were submitted. What a great way to have fun on a Saturday morning.  They like to refer to us as senior citizens, old fogies, geezers and, in some cases, dinosaurs. We may take a little longer for our eyes to see the screen and our fingers to move but Guess What? We can still learn new things like Texting but with a different twist. Check out our short-cuts.
