It's that time again when the City of Boerne will be hosting "Movies in the Park".  Last year when our family moved to the nice quiet town of Boerne, this was one of our first events that we attend.  I have to say it was actually one of my favorites.  My two children loved chilling out in the park, seeing and meeting new friends and watching a movie on the large screen!  This Friday on April 27th, the showing will be Dolphin Tale so come out along with inviting your neighbors and friends to join the event.     Cost: FREE (that's the best part) Location:  Boerne Main Plaza Park (located on main street)                                                      Time:  Starts at Dark Food:  There will be movie snacks to purchase but you can always bring your own

The Green Bull located in Boerne TX 78006 Recently I had a Home Inspection in Boerne TX. As I drove down Main Street I saw a Jewelry Store called The Green Bull. I've seen this store advertised, so I decided to stop. I thought I would  see what was happening at The Green Bull and why they were receiving raving reviews. Here is just one thing I discovered. They have a line dedicated to TEXAS.  I think it was TEXAS WITH AN ATTITUDE. It reminded me of a blog series I did a few years back called Everything Texas. With Mother's Day coming up I would highly recommend you stop by The Green Bull if you are looking for jewelry; they offer Everything Texas + an enormous variety to choose from. They not only have items dedicated to Texas. They offer all types of jewelry. Visit the website and look...

Cave Without a Name is a beautiful solution cave located approximately 12 miles outside Boerne, Texas, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.  The cave is open for tours every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Cave Without a Name was named a National Natural Landmark in 2010.  The beauty of this cave is inspiring and should definitely be on your list of things to do when visiting the Texas Hill Country.  The tours take about one hour and are well worth the time. The cave was first discovered some time during the 1920s when a local noticed steam coming from beneath a large rock on the property.  It is believed that the early German immigrants of this area placed the stone over the opening, likely to prevent the loss of livestock.  When, out of curiosity, the loc...

Don’t hire a home inspector until you read this! You’ve probably seen this head line before. Typically, it comes from a home inspection company trying to tell you how great their company is and how bad the other companies are. The goal here is to provide you with an objective opinion about what makes a great home inspector and what to look for when recommending or hiring one.  We all know there is an entire industry built around home inspector pre-licensing training and continuing education. The home inspector schools do a great job of teaching prospective inspectors the requirements for licensure, what to report on and how to write a report. However, some additional experience, knowledge and expertise are necessary in order to reduce the risk of problems after the sale. In other words...

Israel Rothman Thanks to http://spiritual-intuition.com/ for this image.   Like · · Share · 8 minutes ago · Israel Rothman Sometimes the worst of futures is only an illusion designed by God to test our resolve. Once we make again the right choice, the negative illusion evaporates right before our eyes: " though I travel through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for though art with me" With Newt Gingrich, a Republican Congress, and enlightened electorate and a frightened bunch of Americans showing up at the polls, we will fix this mess before it is too late! It is, as it always is, about making the RIGHT choices.
