What a start to 2021 with snow blanketing Austin! Today the snow started falling in the morning, not sticking to the ground but kept snowing throughout the day eventually accumulating a couple inches. The city residents are reveling in the white stuff! I was out on my way to run a few errands and look who I saw in traffic. I first spotted him in Canyon Creek on Boulder Drive. He was waiving to kids and families out walking. He looped into the circle drive at Trail Head Park and waived to all and yelling "Merry Christmas!"He then turned on to Highway 620 and got caught in traffic but I'm sure he was finishing up last minutes items, just like I was, and getting ready for his big trip this evening.So glad to see you spreading so much Christmas cheer and spirit this year!
