Rosedale This neighborhood is located in the northern part of Central Austin.  It borders North Loop/Hancock Dr. to the north, Lamar Blvd. to the east, 38th St. to the south, and Shoal Creek the west. I live here in Rosedale.  And what is special about this place is Ramsey Park.  Its right in the middle of the neighborhood and brings all of us together.  There is a swimming pool, tennis courts, a huge playground, and a softball field.  With this kind of amenity, the people get out more and get to know one another.  You walk around the neighborhood and feel like a community.  Throughout the neighborhood, there are over 1,200 homes and this area put its self on the map back in the 1860's!  Fast forward 40 years and 4 nurseries made this area their place of business and home; hence Rosedal... 02/03/2011
