I have something stuck in my head.  It came from the Stefan Swanepoel seminar that I went to a few weeks ago.  Stefan spoke about advertising, specifically print & mailers.  He said that while a large number of realtors used the "I'm #1 in sales," or "I'm the top listing agent," only 19% of the public believed statements like that.  The rest of the group relied upon online reviews.  Wow.  Pretty powerful stuff.  Especially since I've used those ads myself.  After the seminar, I couldn't stop thinking about that point.  I use online reviews all the time.  So it made perfect sense to me that others would too.  For instance, when I'm making a purchase, I go to Amazon & look up my item to read what others are saying.  Or I check at Epinions or Consumer Search.  Getting the lowdown from othe... 06/30/2010

Cake Balls.  I hadn't heard of these little heavenly bites until last Friday.  How I've existed up til now without them, I have no idea.  As I'm writing this blog, I'm thinking about the flavors of cake mix I have in the pantry....CAKE BALL RECIPE (makes about 50 balls)1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix1 can Coconut Pecan Frosting2 packages Chocolate Barkwaxed papershort skewers or popsicle sticks (if desired)mini cupcake liners (if desired)1.  Make cake mix as directed on box.2.  Let cake cool for 15-20 minutes in pan.3.  Remove from pan & crumble cake into a large bowl.4. Atascocita Activities Texas Heatwave Soccer!  When the kids are out of school, it is always nice to have choices to keep them occupied.  Texas Heatwave Soccer has Summer Soccer Camp as an offering with two sessions.   June 14-17 July 19-22 The camps are open to ages 5 through 18.  And they are conducted from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Lindsay Lyons Sports Complex.  Now, if you are a soccer player already - it's also time for the 2010-2011 Season Tryouts for U-12 through U-19.  The tryouts are scheduled for Monday June 7-11 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.   You can call 281-359-7280 for more information.
