Thinking about putting your Arlington home on the market? There are a number of thinks you should inspect before you contact a local real estate agent. Here's a quick look! Roof: Your roof should be inspected for damage, especially if it's been through severe weather. You can do it yourself, but a professional may be the way to go for safety reasons. Attic: Look around in your attic for signs of rodents or termites. Inspect any exposed electrical wiring, as rodents will often chew on wires. The Christmas Lights in Interlochen in Arlington Texas is a local favorite during the Christmas Season with almost every home having awesome light displays.  We walked through the neighborhood for about an hour while most were in the long line of cars.  Someone told us there were about 2000 cars that night.  It's sure worth the effort to see these beautiful Christmas displays.

For more than a year, Arlington home owners have been getting used to keeping both hands on the wheel instead of texting while driving. According to city officials, very few tickets have been issued for disobeying this important law that is meant to save lives. Officers says it's more common for them to give a verbal warning than cite someone, and State Rep. Tom Craddick (R-Midland) says that lawmakers will once again aim for a statewide ban next year. He adds, “Writing a text or checking your messages is not worth injuring yourself or someone else,” Craddick said. “I believe a ban on texting while driving will help save lives.” Last year, the Texas Transportation Institute conducted a study that found reading or writing a text message while driving can more than double a driver's react...

Coming Soon: Home for Sale in Arlington, TX    Arlington, TX: There are countless reasons why one should choose a home in Arlington, TX. There has been a definite buzz surrounding this city for the past few years. I believe the two main reasons for this is the construction of the new Cowboys Stadium, or what some called Jerry World, and the second reason is the great success of the Texas Rangers the past few years. Speaking of football, the Dallas Cowboys are kicking off the 2012 regular season against the Super Bowl winner New York Giants. The Texas Rangers are currently on a mission to get back to the World Series for the 3rd consecutive year. Click on Texas Rangers to read about recent news regarding the team.   The Viridian Community is developing nicely in Arlington, TX.  At 2300 acres, 900 of which are planned for development of homes, retail, office and medical space, this is one of the largest undeveloped prime residential pieces of land anywhere in DFW.  As a matter of fact, Viridian is the largest master-planned community started in the entire country in the past four years.  And being in Arlington, Viridian will be conveniently located near DFW International Airport, downtown Dallas and Fort Worth, Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Rangers Ballpark, Six Flags Over Texas, Lone Star Park, Verizon Theater, golf courses and many, many more great area attractions.  Eventually it is expected that there will be more than 3500 houses and town homes.  In anticipation of the population growth in the area...
